Audio guide commentary connects you to the surrounding nature in new and amazing ways, while you watch clouds changing colors and shapes from this glass-encased vantage point.

Instructions

Before you buy

Kids under 6 can join for free but must sit on a parent’s lap on the shuttle bus. Please select a free ticket for them
Reduced tickets available onsite for Alberta residents only

On-site usage

Show your smartphone ticket at the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre
You may then board the shuttle bus taking you to the Columbia Icefield Skywalk (4-minute drive)
Scan your ticket at the entrance of the Columbia Icefield Skywalk and pick up your audio guide there
The best time to visit the Skywalk is before 13:00 or after 15:00
Free, small-group Interpretive Guided Tours depart every 30 minutes from the Discovery Centre (optional, first-come first served)

After your visit

Washrooms are available at the Columbia Icefield Discovery Center
Opening times are weather-dependent and are subject to change. Check the attraction’s website before your visit date
