About
Combine visits to the Glacier Skywalk and the Athabasca Glacier on a tour from the Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre. Ride in a huge ice explorer for a guided tour of the glacier and listen to engaging commentary about glaciers, the local ecosystem, and environmental changes while being taken directly onto a 10,000-year-old sheet of ice. It’s truly a unique experience to walk on, feel, and drink from the Athabasca Glacier.

Before you buy
- Kids under 6 can join for free, but must sit on a parent’s lap on the shuttle bus. Please select a free ticket for them

On-site usage
- Show your voucher at the ticket desk in the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre to receive your official entry ticket and audio guide.
- Boarding the shuttle bus to the Columbia Icefield Skywalk will start 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time
- Your tickets will be scanned at the end of the boarding process to start your tour

- Washrooms and WiFi are available at the Columbia Icefield Discovery Center
- Opening times are weather-dependent and are subject to change. Check the attraction’s website before your visit date
- Wheelchair accessible tours are offered at specific times and require at least 72 hours of advanced notice to book. Please call 1.866.506.0515 to inquire.
