Visit KL Tower, the 7th tallest freestanding tower in the world, standing 421 meters high. From the Observation Deck, enjoy 360-degree views of Kuala Lumpur.

Choose between the indoor Observation Deck, the outdoor Sky Deck, or the glass Sky Box, which extends out from the Sky Deck.

Must Know

  • The Kuala Lumpur Tower Run International Challenge 2025 takes place Sunday, 30 Nov, 5 AM–1 PM
  • Traffic and parking around the tower may be affected, and drop-off points may be congested
  • The terrace and some routes are restricted to participants. It is recommended to visit after 1 PM

Good to Know

  • No bags (including laptop bags) or backpacks are permitted on the Sky Deck
  • Max. size permitted items: 40.6cm x 40.6cm x 20.3cm

Getting there:

Menara Kuala Lumpur provides a free shuttle service (to and from) the main entrance to the KL Tower Lobby every 15 minutes from 08:00 - 22:00 (subject to weather conditions).

  • For the safety of all guests, the open-air Sky Deck and Sky Box will not be available in case of inclement weather
  • Bad weather policy: If you are unable to visit the attractions anymore due to bad weather, please reach to the ticketing counter to get a revisitation ticket(to revisit within next 7 days - no refund)

  • Children under 3 years old get in for free, no ticket required
  • Reduced visit time: 20 minutes at the Observation Deck and 45 minutes at the Sky Deck

On-site usage

  • Check the weather for your visit date. Bad weather policy: If you are unable to visit the attractions due to bad weather, please visit the ticket counter at the attraction to receive a revisitation ticket, valid for the next 7 days (no refunds)
  • Show your smartphone voucher with your valid ID at the ticket window and collect your paper ticket
  • For local Malaysians, please present a valid identification card at the point of redemption
  • Entry is on a first-come-first-serve basis, so you’ll get the first available entry time assigned
  • Reduced visit time: 20 minutes at the Observation Deck and 45 minutes at the Sky Deck

  • All visitors are required to follow the SOP by the National Security Council (NCS) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) while observing the allowable social norms during their visits to KL Tower
  • Unauthorized drones are not allowed on the premises
