Explore Niagara Falls on a guided walking tour through Niagara Falls State Park, New York. With a local guide, you’ll learn about the history and geology of the Falls as you visit the American, Bridal Veil, and Horseshoe Falls.

The 60-minute walking tour takes you to scenic viewpoints on the mainland and Goat Island. You’ll also visit Luna Island, where you can stand between the American and Bridal Veil Falls for a unique view.

If you choose the 90-minute tour, you’ll continue to Terrapin Point for the closest land view of Horseshoe Falls.

Upgrade your visit with a ride on the Maid of the Mist for a closer look at the Falls. Feel the spray as you pass the American and Bridal Veil Falls and head to the Horseshoe Falls. During the off-season, enjoy wide views from the Niagara Falls Observation Tower instead.

Good to Know

  • If you selected an option including the Maid of the Mist boat cruise, you can take it after the walking tour for the 10 AM, 12 PM, and 2 PM departure times. But for the 4 PM and 8:30 PM departures, you should plan to take the boat tour before your walking tour, or the next day
  • During winter (November–April), access to certain areas may sometimes be limited or not possible due to ice; most notably, Luna Island and/or the observation deck
  • The walking tour is not wheelchair accessible
  • The Maid of the Mist is an eco-friendly electric boat

On-site usage

  • Show your smartphone voucher to the guide in front of the Hard Rock Cafe (see map) to get your ticket
  • If you purchased the option that included a Maid of the Mist ticket, join the boarding line for scanning. Note: lines can be long in high season—allow up to 3 hours total. For shorter waits, go earlier in the day
  • Maid of the Mist boat tour normally operates from May–October, but is subject to weather closures
