About
Get ready to ascend to the highest point in Spain. On this tour, you’ll take a bus through Canarian pine forests and then climb the face of the Teide volcano in a comfortable cable car (optional).
Your guide will provide you with plenty of insights along the way, and point out the best hiking trails once you reach the top. You’ll get to decide whether you want to admire the north of the island, the southern isles, or Ucanca Valley.

Before you buy
- Minimum age: 3 years
- Pregnant women and visitors with health problems or physical disabilities aren’t allowed to take the Cable Car

On-site usage
- Pick-up from the North Zone (Zona Norte): at 07:55 from Maritime Hotel Tenerife
- Pick-up from the South Zone (Zona Sur - Costa Adeje): at 08:15 from Sol Arona (these are suggested pick-up points. Check Additional Info and the voucher for more options)
- Show your smartphone voucher to the bus driver
- At the top, for area conservation reasons, the Teide National Park restricts visiting times to 1 hour
- After the tour, you will be dropped off at the same location you were picked up

After your visit
- It is recommended to contact the cable car supplier in advance to check the weather conditions here
- Wear sturdy footwear & bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat & plenty of water
- Bring warmer clothes as the temperature can drop abruptly
- Find attached the schedules on useful downloads and list of available pick-up points
- Note: the timetable is subject to changes. You will be notified by the supplier at least the day before if so
