This special ticket gets you access to the Duomo rooftop, via the stairs or the elevator, depending on your ticket choice. Enjoy jaw-dropping views of Milan from the terraces and learn the history of the building from a whole new perspective.

Must Know

Shoulders and knees must be covered. Shorts, sandals, tank tops and mini-skirts aren’t allowed
Strollers, umbrellas, metal or glass objects, large bags, and luggage aren’t allowed

Good to Know

Wheelchair access to the rooftops is only possible as far as the lower one (limited to the area behind the choir). This service is available daily from 10:00 to 17:00, exclusively via the south elevator (77 x 106 x 130 cm). If the south elevator is out of order, the north one (65 x 111 x 137 cm) will be used instead.

Before you buy

Under-26s: reduced tickets onsite. Under-18s must be with an adult
Visitors must be at the gate at the time indicated on the ticket to start the security checks

On-site usage

Go to the north entrance if you selected the stairs or lift entrance and scan your smartphone ticket at the turnstile
Pick-up audio guide place and time: Monday to Friday 09:30 to 16:00, Saturday 09:30 to 15:00 and Sunday 13:00 to 15:00 at the Audioguide Desk inside the Cathedral. Return of devices within 6pm to the Groups Ticket Office. Beyond these times, the rental service is always active at the Groups Ticket Office, on the right side of the Cathedral
To rent the audio guide, an identity document is required as a security deposit

After your visit

Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times
There are 251 steps to a height of around 50 m for organizational purposes, the descent is via the stairs
Each site can be visited once.
All visitors are subject to security checks
